best of the nest - september features

We had so many wonderful projects this week!!
Thanks so much for joining the party and sharing your latest. Here are some
of my favorite features, be sure to stop by to check out the features at
Lisa's @ Shine Your Light and Jennifer's @ Dimples and Tangles!
and Kris' @ Driven by Decor

**Please pin from the original site**

Amber @ Restless Arrow created her dream kitchen with open shelving. As you
can see she has quite the gift for styling and scoring deals, stop over and check out
her fabulous kitchen she transformed on a budget.
(Btw, her husband had a hand in it, too.)

Ellen @ Scribbler Unfocused brought this neutral chair to life with spray paint.
It's a perfect fit in this happy, lively spot in her bedroom.
She shares her tips and type of paint, too.

Stacey @ Steward of Design had been scheming this fireplace makeover for
thrirteen years! She got brave and is now doing a happy dance around her family room!
I would be too ~ what a huge transformation!
Gretchen @ Boxy Colonial  created this Halloween display of Miss Havisham's
wedding feast based on Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
If you love Halloween or literature you'll find it creepy and intriguing!

A clever idea for a custom piece of art using wrapping paper and burlap,
I love the sweet little heart, or an initial would be fun.

Start thinking about your next project, we'd love to feature you!
Our next party will be here before you know it - Friday, October 24th!

Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

Thank you so much for featuring my little chair! I tried to say thanks this morning when we were rolling down the highway toward home, but that iPad/commenting thing just wasn't cooperating. I am glad you all liked it.

I really like how the operator approached the use of design in the wedding portfolio. This bride's room is very original. Such photo shoots are typical for women's weddings. I read about it in chats on lesbiemates. Women openly seek a partner in their community and often share the details of their wedding ceremonies.
